Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty Starts NOW!

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty

Starting today Ulta will begin their 21 Days of Beauty; a HUGE sales event that Ulta offers for 21 days from March 19th – April 8th.  These next 21 days are full of awesome deals on high-end cosmetics, skin care, Ulta brand products, brushes and much more!  Each day there will be a Beauty Steal that is good for one day only, so if you want in you’ll have to act fast!  I always order online and use Ebates, but you can get most items in-store too, just be warned that store items typically sell out fast.  There are also a number of Hot Buys and Ulta Collection Beauty Deals that run the length of the event and there’ll be daily Platinum Perk deals as well.  It’s absolutely amazing and one of my favorite times to stock up on favorites and try new beauty products.

I’ve composed a list of items that I feel are worth checking out.  My advice is to check Ulta’s website calendar here and plan ahead for what you want, so you can scoop it up on the day it’s offered.

Flower Beauty | Flower Pot Powder Blush Review & Swatches

Flower Pot Powder Blushes are new to the Flower Beauty line, created by Drew Barrymore, and are exclusively sold at Walmart and Flower Beauty’s online store.  They come in 4 shades and at Walmart (where I purchased mine) the cost was $8.98 (0.21 oz).  I picked up 2 shades to swatch and review today.

These blushes are said to have a soft, satin finish that is easy to blend with buildable colors.  I completely agree with this claim.  They are smooth and silky to the touch, they blend beautifully on the skin which allows you to build up the intensity or just have a subtle sweep of color.  The design is gorgeous too!  The flower shape is so pretty and is embedded so it doesn’t fade away as soon as you begin using it.

BECCA Snapdragon Blush Dupes

I recently purchased a blush that I’ve been wanting for a while now, the BECCA Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blush in the shade Snapdragon.

It’s a really pretty pinky coral with a golden sheen.  It’s very pigmented, so you definitely have to use a light hand when applying.  In the picture below I’ve watched it heavily (left side) and then blended it a bit more (right side) so you can see the difference.

As I was swatching this blush and looking through my makeup stash, I realized something. I have a type. Apparently a favorite type of blush, because I discovered I have a bunch of blushes that are super similar to BECCA’s Snapdragon. Oh Boy! ☺
